Honey Mustard Salad Dressing

This is ideal for a grilled chicken or similar salad.

You need the following ingredients. Makes one and a half cups of dressing.
1 cup of fat-free mayonnaise
1/4 cup of prepared mustard
1/4 cup of honey
2 tablespoons lime or lemon juice

One of the easiest salad dressings you can make. Put mustard, honey and lemon juice in a small bowl and whisk together with the fat-free mayonnaise. Cover the bowl from top and keep in a refrigerator.

Contains about 20 calories per tablespoon, zero cholesterol, low amounts of fat and a bit of carbohydrates.

Garlic Dressing Recipe

This one will look good on just about any salad! More ingredients compared to the salad dressing recipe given above, but very easy to make and delicious.

Ingredients :

  • 3 crushed garlic cloves
  • 3/4 cup of extra virgin olive oil
  • half a cup of red wine vinegar
  • Two tablespoons of honey
  • 1/3 cup of distilled water
  • One freshly juiced lemon
  • 3/4 teaspoons of salt-free seasoning
  • Two tablespoons chopped chives

How to make :
Put all the ingredients in a blender and pulse on high until everything is well mixed. Pour into a small bowl, cover and keep in refrigerator. Makes approx. 2 cups of salad dressing.
